What are the benefits for a guy to have a pedicure?

I go in bare feet most of the time, even when I am outside, and a friend of mine suggested I have a pedicure. But I am not sure what the advantages are of having a pedicure, my nails look okay and the skin on the soles of my feet is very strong from not wearing shoes much. Should someone who goes barefoot often have a pedicure done?
